David Phillips

David, a retired teacher, spends most of his time carving fish out of waning wood, reflecting his deep respect for and desire to preserve nature. He carefully gathers the cedar from area farms with special attention given to the flow of the limb from which it is carved so that David’s fish look like they are actually swimming. Each fish is a unique piece of art to be cherished.
