For years, Lake Oconee’s natural resources have inspired Sherry to create. She searches for native materials, adding feathers, mosses and lichens to her wreaths. Driftwood found along the shore of the lake magically become porch trees. The Primitive Map of Lake Oconee is humorous with landscape scenes added for interest. Sherry’s art adds to Genuine Georgia’s signature look inside the store. “When customers enter the store, I enjoy sharing the stories behind all of the different art we carry from Georgia Artisans. I also enjoy surprising customers with unique and practical uses of the art pieces they have chosen.”
